Global Process
ECK
utilizes a coaching-based process to guide our classes. The process consists of
the following steps: Pre-Class Needs Analysis, Tailored Program
Development, Previewing, Training, Actual Practice, Evaluation, and Feedback.
04 Tracks & Modules
Empowering Business English is organized into 5 tracks of 5 modules each selected from an original
pool of 13 tailored modules. Each module is intended to be completed in three
to five hours, thus an entire track would take 15 to 25 hours to complete.
This module will focus on developing time management skills with the help of ‘the Time Management Matrix’ to make students understand the important distinction between ‘urgent’ and ‘important’ work.
Module B: Career Management
This module will help businesspeople identify suitable career tracks for themselves or their team members with the help of ‘Personal SWOT Analysis,’ which pinpoints career strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Module C: Stress Management
This module will help clients to identify sources of stress and possible solutions to any stressful difficulties by uncovering the strengths and weaknesses in the way stress is managed etc. through the ‘Stress SWOT Analysis’.
Module D: Competence Management
This module will help managers and other businesspeople learn to break down large problems into smaller tasks and also analyze, list, and match each team members’ skills using the BALM method.
Module E: Leadership Skills
This module will allow managers to understand the qualities of a great leader, and thus be in a better position to take their leadership skills to the next level by studying the ‘Leadership Pyramid’.
Module F: Decision Making
This module will allow businesspeople to make better decisions by looking at the problem from many different angles and explore the ‘6 Thinking Hats’ in an attempt.
Module G: Increasing Performance
This module will introduce businessmen to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to analyze their own or their team members’ performance at work.
Module H: Career Direction
This module will help businesspeople to explore the possibilities by plotting contingencies into a ‘Personal Ansoff Matrix.’ which allows them to explore the risks of changing career directions.
Module I: Understanding Sales
This module will allow salespeople to better monitor their own sales processes by examining ‘the Sales Funnel’ in order to understand sales process and avoid losing sales.
Module J: Market Penetration
This module will help managers and other decision-makers to select which new markets to tap in to by using the ‘Corporate Ansoff Matrix’.
Module K: Global Business
This module will equip businesspeople with the skills they need to operate globally by applying Hofstede’s ‘Five Dimensions of Culture’ and exploring specific cultural differences.
Module L: Buying & Selling
This module will enable businesspeople to make stronger connections with clients or possible clients by using ‘the Buy-Sell Hierarchy’.
Module M: Creativity in Business
This module will employ ‘the Reframing Matrix’ to imagine seeing a problem or opportunity from the mindset of a completely different person so that businesspeople can solve problems in a more creative way.
